1. In NetSuite, Select List>Relationships>Project Requisition>New.
2. Input the required information (fields denoted with an asterisk *) in the form.
3. Add Resources to the project to ensure their expenses can be allocated to the project. Resources can be employees, equipment, or credit cards.
4. Save the project form. The form then goes to the Finance Department, where it will be approved. An invoice cannot be created for the project until the project is approved.
Notes:
- The Project ID should be the project code and the campaign name (eg. DMO004.6 – Cottage Life Podcast S1).
- If invoices are required to be in USD, ensure this is noted in the Project ID.
- The subsidiary and customer cannot be changed once the project is created. If the wrong party is selected, a new project will need to be created
o The customer is who will receive the bill for the project
